Our Doctor
Dr. John J. Mosca
Dr. John J. Mosca has not only a great personality and smile, but he also has the education and experience that matters. He graduated in 1973 with a Master Degree in Anatomy and in 1977 as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia - one of the nation's top dental schools. He served in the U.S. Navy where he received extensive training in endodontics and oral surgery.
Dr. Mosca then became an instructor for the University of Maryland at Baltimore City Hospital, where he practiced dentistry and taught newly qualified dentists in the practical application of modern dental techniques. Dr. Mosca has been in private practice in the Pasadena area since 1983.
Dr. Mosca attends continuing education courses that provide him with the professional training needed to care for his patients as if they were his own family. If necessary, he will consult with the best specialists to give optimum care. He is also a member of the ADA, MSDA and AACD Society. Over the last 3 decades, he has taken numerous courses to keep updated in cosmetic dentistry which include extensive training in veneers and bonding to enhance every smile. He is certified in the latest technique to replace missing teeth with mini implants (two appointments and no surgery).
As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, he is proficient in delivering Botox and Juvederm to make his patients appear younger.
On a Personal Note...
"Doc John" is from nearby Essex, Maryland and resides in Pasadena with his fantastic wife, Christin. They share four wonderful children, Shannon, Stephanie, John and Danah.
"Doc John" has a passion for traveling, especially to warm places. He loves to share stories, so don't be shy; feel free to discuss trips with him. He has a long history of riding a Harley, skiing and boating. He and his wife, a Southwest flight attendant, fly frequently on weekends to St. Petersburg, Florida, where they own a home. He is also a member of the NRA and enjoys target shooting.
He has been a member since 1984 and served on the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Business Association
